Celebrating the Contributions of Welsh Muslims in Wales

The Bengal Dragons Foundation, in partnership with Muslim Friendly Employer (MFE), is proud to announce a landmark event to be held at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, celebrating the incredible contributions of Welsh Muslims across all walks of life.

This first-of-its-kind gathering, titled “The Contributions of Welsh Muslims in Wales,” will shine a light on the remarkable impact Muslims have made, and continue to make, across business, education, public service, sport, arts, charity, and community life in Wales.

Why This Event Matters

Muslims in Wales are part of the fabric of this country. From local entrepreneurs and educators to NHS workers, athletes, and activists, they have helped shape communities with resilience, service, and spirit. Yet these contributions are often underrepresented or misunderstood.

This event aims to change that narrative by providing a national platform to celebrate, inspire, and raise awareness of the vital role Welsh Muslims play in modern Wales.

Our Vision

By hosting the event at the Senedd the heart of Welsh democracy, we’re sending a powerful message that Welsh Muslims are not only part of this nation’s past and present but are also shaping its future.

Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and community stories, we will explore how inclusive workplaces, public spaces, and civic life can benefit from greater recognition, understanding, and opportunity for Muslim communities.

This event will bring together a rich mix of speakers and guests, employers, community leaders, change-makers, and role models. It will include:

·       Networking and collaboration opportunities for organisations and individuals
